Kitchen Porter

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic kitchen porter to support our kitchen team. This is an integral role to our busy, lively kitchen. We require a kitchen porter who shares our values, has a strong work ethic, and takes great pride in their work.

The successful candidate will work in the kitchen as a kitchen porter, responsible for washing up, putting deliveries away, cleaning the kitchen and basic food preparation.

This role has great development opportunities so would be perfectly suited to somebody who is wishing to start their career in food management or hospitality.

Front of House / Waiting / Bar staff

We are looking for passionate Front of House waiting and bar staff to join our dynamic team. We seek staff with a passion for hospitality, who can confidently deliver exceptional, 5-star service to our guests.

Job Responsibilities include
  • Adhering to COVID-19 & UK government regulations.
  • Delivering amazing customer experience for our guests and maintaining our brand values.
  • Being a point of contact for our guests, taking orders, food running and ensuring that customers have a truly memorable dining experience with Restaurante Andalucia.
  • Willingness to always go the extra mile.
  • Working in our bar team making and serving cocktails and all drinks required. You will be able to prepare and serve hot beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as instructed.
  • Ensure that the dining area is always in place and in a clean, tidy condition.
  • Being knowledgeable with our menu and to ensure that dietary requirements are carefully relayed to the kitchen.
  • Working within a team and exhibit excellent interpersonal skills.

Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic individual, to support our management team with the day-to-day running of our new opening coffee shop and barista takeaway.

Our new coffee shop will not only focus on providing great coffee in a relaxing environment, but we will also provide delicious food so an individual with all round hospitality experience will be preferable. We are looking for a creative, passionate, and experienced Barista to share their knowledge and passion.

The role will focus on supporting day-to-day operations and higher management. You will be involved in the daily running of the cafe and will be required to ensure that the restaurants values are upheld while exhibiting great excellent customer service skills, a creative eye for displays and a strong general knowledge of coffee trends.

Job Responsibilities include
  • Adhering to COVID-19 & UK government regulations.
  • Create loyal customers of by delivering an amazing customer experience, while ensuring high quality coffee/food.
  • Coordinating daily operations.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the coffee shop adhering to all company standards, polices & procedures.
  • Managing the reservation diary for incoming restaurant bookings.
  • Ensure that the restaurants brand standards are delivered throughout shifts to guarantee complete customer satisfaction – completing all relevant, standards, food & health, and safety checks.
  • Working alongside other teams such as our bar team and helping assist them with cocktail and drinks service if required. To be able to prepare and serve hot beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as instructed.
  • Showcase high standards of personal hygiene and a can-do attitude.
  • Maintaining the coffee shops appearance.
  • Ensuring all equipment and the coffee shop is always cleaned and presentable.

Section Chef

We are looking for a passionate chef who can confidently deliver exceptional, 5-star service to our guests. At the same time, you will have the food knowledge and skills to support the team to deliver exceptional food, and in turn a superb guest experience. You will work with the kitchen team to ensure consistently high standards in preparation, service, and kitchen management. In this challenging position you will help shape our guests dining experience by preparing and cooking extraordinary authentic Spanish food.

This role has development opportunities so would be perfectly suited to somebody who is wishing to take their career to a new level.

Requirements

The successful applicant will need to be proactive, approachable and have a strong work ethic. You would need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, showcasing energy and resilience. Have an optimistic attitude and remain positive in changing circumstances, keeping difficulties in perspective, and maintaining calm under pressure.

Proven work experience in a professional kitchen is required. 3-4 years’ experience and a NVQ level 3 is preferable.

Advanced kitchen preparation skills are needed, with a strong background of cooking with fresh high-quality ingredient, ideally within the Mediterranean cuisine and gastronomy.

Familiar with food hygiene and kitchen Health and Safety. Online food safety and allergens training will be required.

You will need to manage inventory levels in your section and have a strong understanding of yield and cost control. This role has great development opportunities, so we require eagerness, ambition, and passion.
